LESSON 18: THE DIET OF CHAMPIONS
When king Nebuchadnezzar besieged the city of Jerusalem,
thousands of Jews were taken captive and exiled to Babylon.
The king then ordered Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs
to select some children from the captive Jews to bring into the royal palace,
to be educated in the language and sciences of Babylon in three years
so that they could serve the king afterward.
Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah were chosen and brought in.
But there was a problem.
The diet of wine and dainties of this place that was appointed to these young men
were filled with things that would defile those who would partake of them.
Not wanting to appear ungrateful and arrogant,
but nevertheless “purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself
with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank,”
Daniel “requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” [27] Daniel 1:8.
He asked permission for himself and his three friends to eat a plain, vegan diet.
That request was initially rejected by the official in charge:
“I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink:
for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort?”. he protested,
“then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king!” [27] Daniel 1:10.
But Daniel gently petitioned,
that the four of them be allowed to partake of that plain diet for 10 days,
then let their health be compared with those who were feasting on the royal banquet of Babylon.
This request was finally approved,
and in 10 days, the four Hebrews ate only a vegan diet and drank only clean, plain water.
“And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh
than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.” [27] Daniel 1:15.
Three years later, the four of them were tested by king Nebuchadnezzar himself.
“And in all matters of wisdom and understanding,
that the king enquired of them,
he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” [27] Daniel 1:20.
The Bible later on revealed to us that Daniel lived to approximately 100 years old (maybe even more)!
Just exactly what was it that enabled Daniel and his friends
to acquire such unbelievable intelligence, health and lifespan,
so far exceeded all other rivals in the entire empire?!
1. Does the Lord care about our physical well-being,
or does He only care about the spiritual?
[01] Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom,
and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
The Bible teaches that the Lord deeply cares about our health.
The amount of time that JESUS spent to heal was no less than the amount of time He spent to preach.
There are many biblical principles that we can apply to enhance our health and prolong our lives.
2. Why is our health so important to the Lord?
[07] I Corinthians 6:19, 20 your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…
therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
[06] Romans 12:1 Present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
The Lord wishes to fill us with Himself, to ever be with us,
and that is why we must make our bodies as holy and healthy as possible.
A clear mind and a healthy body can tremendously increase our spiritual sensitivity
to better know the Lord and His leading in our conscience,
thus enabling us to follow Him closer.
3. What did the Lord promise the Israelites if they would obey His instructions?
Did He keep His words?
[02] Exodus 15:26 If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of YHWH thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
for I am YHWH that healeth thee.
[05] Deuteronomy 7:15 And YHWH will take away from thee all sickness.
[19] Psalm 105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold:
and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Imagine that. An entire nation, population numbered in the millions by the time they entered the Promised Land,
and NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS SICK, let alone hospitalized.
4. What is the golden rule of the Bible for a healthy and fulfilled life?
[07] I Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
[07] I Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink,
or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
We are to train ourselves to be temperate and disciplined
so that each habit – even the habit of eating and drinking –
brings glory to God our Father.
We are to reject all hurtful indulgences and only use the good things temperately.
5. Should Christians use alcoholic beverages?
[20] Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging:
and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
[20] Proverbs 23:29-35 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow?
who hath contentions? who hath babbling?
who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
They that tarry long at the wine;
they that go to seek mixed wine.
Look not thou upon the wine when it is red,
when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
Thine eyes shall behold strange women,
and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea,
or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick;
they have beaten me, and I felt it not:
when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.
Alcoholic beverages obviously were condemned and mocked by the Bible.
[20] Proverbs 23:29-35 is the ridicule poem jeering all those who are seduced by this poison,
offering us a clear look at its true picture and advising us not to even look at it!
Now the word “wine” in the Bible simply refers to grape juice,
both the fresh, unfermented kind and the fermented.
And the wine that Christians should use is “new wine”,
which is unfermented grape juice, tasty and healthy.
[23] Isaiah 65:8 The new wine is found in the cluster.
Many are told that alcoholic wine is good for the heart (?!).
Whether that is true or not,
the wine manufacturers had hidden from them the other half of the so-called “truth”:
if alcoholic wine has any health benefit at all,
it would come only from the grape juice itself.
The process of fermenting it not only added no benefit but even brought harms,
overwhelming harms that obliterated whatever original benefit the grape juice had.
With all the information from the Bible and from scientific common sense,
we can easily see that fermented grape juice and all the other alcoholic beverages are not to be consumed.
Many people mistakenly believe that they can still be used as spices in cooking,
and the process of cooking will evaporate the alcohol.
However, studies have shown that even when being boiled,
after 15 minutes, approximately 40% of the alcohol will still be in the food,
and even after 2 hours of cooking, there will still be around 10% left.
No matter how you cook it, some of it is almost certainly to remain still
in the ingredients that were soaked and cooked with it,
and will not evaporate all away.
6. What would God do to those who willfully defile their own bodies with poisonous substances?
[07] I Corinthians 3:16, 17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.
[02] Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
All harmful substances and behaviors that destroy the health, harm the body, or cut short the lifespan, are to be put away.
Killing yourself even slowly would still be the sin of murder.
This includes, of course, all kinds of tobacco, drugs, alcoholic beverages,
and drinks that contain a very widely-used substance
that many have not yet known to be extremely toxic, called caffeine.
It is in the nature of all stimulants that the supposed increased energy
is only borrowed strength from the future reserve of the body,
and thus with every use the user must consequently be left weaker and weaker, and more depleted still.
The Father has strictly prohibited us from defiling the temple of the body
or destroying ourselves for the sake of selfish lust,
and has plainly declared that He will destroy those who knew but would still willfully do it.

‘Tea is poisonous to the system. Christians should let it alone.
The influence of coffee is in a degree the same as tea,
but the effect upon the system is still worse.
Its influence is exciting, and just in the degree that it elevates above par
it will exhaust and bring prostration below par.
Tea and coffee drinkers carry the marks upon their faces.
The skin becomes sallow and assumes a lifeless appearance.
The glow of health is not seen upon the countenance.
…The second effect of tea drinking is headache, wakefulness, palpitation of the heart, indigestion, trembling of the nerves, with many other evils.’
In fact, the deadly trio of alcohol, nicotine (in tobacco) and caffeine (in caffeinated drinks,
in some coffee and tea that have not yet been thoroughly decaffeinated)
are the top three poisons that are plaguing the mind and health of human beings around the world.
In many countries, alcohol and tobacco, no doubt, are two of the most ruthless serial killers
that have and are still murdering the most human lives every year for many consecutive years,
often seen cooperating with traffic accidents, diseases and plagues to mow the people down like grass.

‘In relation to tea, coffee, tobacco, and alcoholic drinks,
the only safe course is to touch not, taste not, handle not.
The tendency of tea, coffee, and similar drinks
is in the same direction as that of alcoholic liquor and tobacco,
and in some cases the habit is as difficult to break
as it is for the drunkard to give up intoxicants.
Those who attempt to leave off these stimulants will for a time feel a loss, and will suffer without them.
But by persistence they will overcome the craving, and cease to feel the lack.
Nature may require a little time to recover from the abuse she has suffered;
but give her a chance, and she will again rally, and perform her work nobly and well.’
7. What does the Bible say about eating fat and blood?
[03] Leviticus 7:23, 24 Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself,
and the fat of that which is torn with beasts,
may be used in any other use:
but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
[03] Leviticus 17:12-13 I said unto the children of Israel,
No soul of you shall eat blood,
neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel,
or of the strangers that sojourn among you,
which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten;
he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
[05] Acts 15:29 Abstain from meats offered to idols,
and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication.
Almost 3.500 years after the Lord told Moses “fat can be used for any purpose except eating”,
finally in 1964, two German scientists were awarded the Nobel prize for their discovery
about the relationship between cholesterol in animal fat and heart-related problems.
Sure, we need some good cholesterol to build the hormones, likes testosterone.
But we do not need the rest of it to clog our arteries.
And about blood: if urine is the most toxic-filled liquid in the body,
the second most toxic-filled liquid would be the one transporting the toxic to the kidneys to be filtered out via urine: blood.
Most viruses, germs and diseases in the body of an animal would be densely concentrated in the blood.
Eating this is NOT AT ALL healthy like many would presume especially in many Eastern countries.
Regarding the amount of nutrition, compared to meat, blood obviously is way far behind
(think about how long blood must be pumped through the body in order to accumulate just a little meat).
That is not to mention the mere act of eating or drinking blood is somewhat extremely savage,
deemed to be increasing the animal propensities in the body even by Eastern medicine.
No wonder why the Lord would command His children NOT to partake of blood!
8. What about meat?
Which kind of animal did the Lord permit us to eat meat from?
[03] Leviticus 11:2, 3 These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
To help us better differentiate, the Lord has divided all animals into two groups: clean and unclean,
among which the clean (also called kosher animals) would be edible,
while the unclean would not.
All mammals on land must have both of these characteristics to be deemed clean:
(1) hoof, and (2) chew the cud (being a ruminant).
For example: ox, sheep, goat, deer…
These two characteristics make the meat of the animal
much less contaminated by parasites and toxic
compared to the mammals that do not have them.
The hooves protect the beast from infection and injuries
in the most often injured spot of the body: the feet.
While the ruminant stomach is the identification of a grass-eating vegan animal.
Even when they are all raised in a clean environment,
the meat of these hoofed ruminants would be far “cleaner” than the meat of the other animals.
Organic beef would be cleaner than organic pork.
The animals that do not have both of these two characteristics,
lo and behold, are mostly “scavengers”, like hogs and dogs.
The scavengers are a very important part of nature,
and they are good when they are allowed to function in their designed expertise,
but they would be terrible to be used as food articles for human beings.
A multitude of toxins, heavy metals… are found in their meat,
millions of times more densely than that of the clean animals.
Eating these scavengers is basically eating trash indirectly,
so much so that even those who eat them when cooking these meats
usually had to boil them through to eliminate the scum bubbling off from them,
and the whole broth would become so disgusting that it has to be get rid of,
and can’t be used to cook anything else.
Moreover, it is a fact that many pandemics in mankind have started from eating these unclean animals:
Ebola, SARS, AIDS… even the Corona pandemic was suspected to have started from eating bats.
Human beings can be categorized as a type of non-kosher animal,
if a person is infected by a disease from a kosher animal, like, from a cow,
the disease could be so severe to the point that the person might even die,
and it would still be very hard for it to be transmitted to other people.
However, if a person is infected with a virus from an unclean animal,
it would be very readily spread to other people, who did not even eat the thing.
Thus eating unclean animals increases the risk of pandemics to the community.
The law of God forbidding the consumption of these animals,
therefore, can even help prevent pandemics.
9. Which underwater animals are clean?
[03] Leviticus 11:9, 12 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters:
whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat…
Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
In other words, among all animals that are in the water,
only those that have fins (fish) and scales are clean.
This “armor” would shield these fishes better from contaminations and parasites,
and none of them are scavengers.
While pretty much all those that are not scaled fishes,
lo and behold, are the underwater scavengers:
crabs and lobsters eat the dead and rotting carcasses at the bottom,
oysters, scallops and mussels are water filters, eating fish poops,
the fishes without scales also often are bottom feeders among the mud, doing the same job,
or aggressive predators that eat everything.
In the picture: “this is a bug on land – this is a bug underwater”.
“Shrimps, lobsters, clams, crabs, and oysters are NOT food.
They’re BUGS; underwater bugs! Bottom feeders, and scavengers. NOT FOOD!”
10. Which birds are unclean?
[03] Leviticus 11:13-19 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls;
they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination:
the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
and the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
every raven after his kind; and the owl, and the night hawk,
and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, and the gecko bird,
and the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the stork, the heron after her kind,
and the lapwing, and the bat.
Only the foraging birds, like pigeons, quails, turkeys, chickens, ducks… are clean.
All the rest of the birds, including the predators and the scavengers, are unclean.
11. Which insects are edible?
[03] Leviticus 11:21, 22 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four,
which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind,
and the bald locust after his kind,
and the beetle (cricket) after his kind,
and the grasshopper after his kind.
“Flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four” is the term denoting the insects.
Note that in the Bible, only the four hind legs of an insect are counted as legs,
while the front legs are called “hands”.
Like in [20] Proverbs 30:28 “The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.”
Most insects are disgusting for obvious reasons,
except the flying ones that have big thighs on their hind legs to jump,
like locusts, crickets and grasshoppers.
These in the insect world are like the ox, sheep and goat in the mammal world.
They eat grass, and can only thrive in clean environments.
We can hardly ever find these clean insects in polluted cities, even in their parks.
12. Was the differentiation between clean and unclean animals
a part of the ceremonial and sacrificial laws given to Moses,
or did it already exist long before that?
[01] Genesis 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female:
and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
The time that the Lord said this to Noah was approximately a thousand years before Moses,
showing that the differentiation between clean and unclean animals had existed even before the Flood.
Understandable, because if the rite of sacrifice was given ever since sin came to point to a coming Savior,
the knowledge about which animals are clean
and can be accepted as shadows of Christ in the sacrificial offerings
would have also been given along with the rite.
Both scientifically and spiritually, we have plenty of reasons to be sure
that the instructions which were given by God regarding clean and unclean animals
were not just for the Jews only, but for all mankind for their own good.
13. Did God plainly declare that knowingly consuming things forbidden by Him is a grievous sin that He will punish?
[23] Isaiah 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst,
eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse,
shall be consumed together, saith YHWH.
The tree in the midst of the garden that they were sanctifying themselves to follow is in fact a grove, or idol.
Four groups are plainly described here:
consumers of swine’s flesh, consumers of mice, consumers of abominations, and followers of idols.
All 4 groups will be consumed together at the second coming of the Lord,
described in this passage [23] Isaiah 66:15-17!

‘The controlling power of appetite will prove the ruin of thousands,
who, if they had conquered on this point,
would have had the moral power to gain the victory over EVERY OTHER TEMPTATION.
But those who are slaves to appetite WILL FAIL of perfecting Christian character…
There are but few who are roused sufficiently to understand
how much their habits of diet affect their health,
their character, their usefulness in this world, and their eternal destiny.’
14. What was the optimum diet originally designed by God for mankind?
[01] Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth,
and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;
to you it shall be for meat.
“Herbs bearing seed”, including beans and grains like corn, wheat, etc…,
together with fruits and nuts,
constitute the ultimate diet that was originally given to mankind by God.
You can easily supply pretty much all the needed minerals and vitamins with this diet
by adhering to a simple tip:
eat all the colors and as many varieties as possible.

‘The Lord desires those living in countries
where fresh fruit can be obtained during a large part of the year,
to awake to the blessing they have in this fruit.
The more we depend upon the fresh fruit just as it is plucked from the tree,
the greater will be the blessing.’

‘It would be well for us to do less cooking and to eat more fruit in its natural state.
Let us teach the people to eat freely of the fresh grapes, apples, peaches, pears, berries,
and all other kinds of fruit that can be obtained.
Let these be prepared for winter use by canning,
using glass, as far as possible, instead of tin.’
Many kinds of seeds in fruits help supply vitamins that are highly beneficial to health.
Once upon a time, scurvy was killing millions of sailors,
and for a long time it was considered to be incurable,
but eventually it was discovered to simply be the deficiency of vitamin C,
which can be cured so easily by consuming this vitamin,
which is abundant in many kinds of fruit.
Likewise, cancer – the seemingly incurable disease –
can easily be checked and prevented by 3 simple moves:
1) Surrender to the Lord, and “casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” [21] I Peter 5:7.
For cancer is partly a disease of the mind (hatred, grief, or a conscience unforgiven of its sins…).
That’s why mental conditions affect so powerfully the growth of cancer.
2) Reverse back to a nutritious vegan diet
(it is very hard for cancer to develop in the alkaline environment of a vegan’s body,
while it grows far too well in the acidic bodies of those who use meat, alcohol, cigarettes, etc…).
3) Consume vitamin B17, abundant in the kennel of apricot and other stone fruits.
Each B17 molecule contains 1 hydrogen cyanide, 1 benzaldehyde and 2 glucose “locked” together.
Only when it encounters an enzyme called beta-glucosidase
– hardly present anywhere in the entire body but the cancer cells –
will hydrogen cyanide be released, and thus benzaldehyde and cyanide (very poisonous) will kill the cancer cells on the spot.
Meanwhile, in the healthy cells, there is another enzyme called rhodanese in abundant
– much more than the enzyme beta-glucosidase –
that neutralizes cyanide and benzaldehyde into thiocyanate (harmless) and salicylate (a pain-killer like aspirin).
Interestingly, cancer cells do not contain rhodanese.
This entire process is called “selective poisoning”,
for it aims at cancer cells alone to destroy them,
while the healthy cells are unharmed.
The Hunza people living in northern Pakistan never get cancer.
Their favorite food: apricot kennel (in the picture).
Although many vitamins can cause vitamin poisoning if overdosed,
strangely enough, there has never been any recorded incident of vitamin B17 poisoning in the Hunza community,
even when they eat a LOT of apricot kennels.
Still, just to be sure, let us not consume too much of this food.
It is said that some unverified scientific researches show that about 50 of these kennels
would be enough to cause dangerous poisoning to an adult.

you can google a guy named Chris Wark, author of the book “Chris Beat Cancer”,
who defeated stage III colon cancer,
went on to become an expert in beating this disease
by using vegan food and natural remedies provided by God,
and had helped thousands upon thousands of people achieve the same result.

15. After Adam and Eve fell, what did the Lord add to their diet?
[01] Genesis 3:18 And thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
After Adam and Eve sinned and lost their right to the tree of life,
the Lord added vegetables to their diet.
It is not until after the great flood, when the fruit trees of the earth have been devastated,
would the Lord permitted men to eat meat in [01] Genesis 9:2-3,
and within only a few generations, their lifespan significantly decreased
from 950 years of Noah ([01] Genesis 9:29) down to approximately 200 years of Peleg ([01] Genesis 11:18-19).

‘After the flood the people ate largely of animal food.
God saw that the ways of man were corrupt,
and that he was disposed to exalt himself proudly against his Creator,
and to follow the inclinations of his own heart.
And he permitted that long-lived race to eat animal food to shorten their sinful lives.
Soon after the flood the race began to rapidly decrease in size, and in length of years.’
In many of the previous questions,
the reasons why unclean meats are reckoned as abominations in the Word of God have been explained.
But the purpose of this lesson
is not just to convince you to give up unclean meat merely,
but to give up all kinds of meat altogether,
and reform back to the diet of “grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables”.

‘At this stage of the earth’s history meat-eating is DISHONORING TO GOD.
It is meat-eating and liquor-drinking that are making the world as it was in the days of Noah.
These things are strengthening the lower passions of human beings, animalizing the race.

Indeed, many buddhists and atheists currently warring against God
are ahead of the Christian community in health reform.
They have embraced the vegan diet and have reaped the sure result of better health
than many Christians professing the name of Christ,
who should have been foremost in all the works of uplifting mankind from the degradation caused by sins,
among which works is the reformation to return to the vegan diet.
Many of us didn’t know about this light, but now that we know,
should we deliberately submit ourselves to be the slaves of appetite, refuse to deny self,
to offer up this shameful losers’ result to be a perpetual reproach to the name of the Lord?
Children of the Most High Creator God,
warring against the laws of health He established,
self-destruct for the sake of lust
to lose even to worshipers of other gods and atheists who often blaspheme Him?

‘If those who have been in the church for weeks and months have not learned the straightness of the way,
and what it is to be Christians,
and cannot hear all the straight truths of the Word of God,
it were better that they were cut off from Israel.
It is too late in the day to feed with milk.
If souls a month or two old in the truth,
who are about to enter the time of trouble such as never was,
cannot hear all the straight truth,
or endure the strong meat of the straightness of the way,
how will they stand in the day of battle?
Truths that we have been years learning must be learned in a few months
by those who now embrace the Third Angel’s Message.
We had to search and wait the opening of truth,
receiving a ray of light here and a ray there,
laboring and pleading for God to reveal truth to us.
But now the truth is plain; its rays are brought together.
The blazing light of truth when it is presented as it should be
can be now seen and brought to bear upon the heart.
There is no need of milk after souls are convinced of the truth.
As soon as the conviction of truth is yielded to and the heart willing,
the truth should have its effect, the truth will work like leaven,
and purify and purge away the passions of the natural heart.
It is a disgrace for those who have been in the truth for years
to talk of feeding souls who have been months in the truth, upon milk.
It shows they know little of the leadings of the Spirit of the Lord,
and realize not the time we are living in.
Those who embrace the truth now WILL HAVE TO STEP FAST.’

‘Many who are now only half converted on the question of meat eating
will go from God’s people to walk no more with them.’
So be fully converted instead, and start striving for the work of diet reform.
Don’t be half converted, and eventually reach a point where the Lord’s Spirit is grieved away.
Once that happen, you might even see yourself leaving the church – the body of Christ –
because the Holy Spirit is the only power that maintains you in it.
Many people left the church, thinking they did it on their own accord,
but they were actually spewed out by the Lord and not knowing it.
Don’t be among them.
*Caution: among all food products from the dead carcasses of animals,
there is one especially disgusting thing called “gelatin”.
I’m not talking about the plant-based gelatin/collagen like the one made from seaweed,
but the animal-based one made from the bones and hide of modern cattle,
including non-kosher animals like pigs.
Unless it is clearly stated to be vegan,
the gelatin you shall find in the market – its code being E441 –
is almost sure to be this unclean one,
also widely used in the food industry and put into various foods,
like many cakes and candies.
And of course, with such an abominable origin,
how can it be expected to be good for health or allowed by God to be used for food?
The modern processed food industry has been using all kinds of abominable ingredients to make food
and then inventing an entire system of “food codes”
so that the average person can’t find out what he is putting in his mouth.
Here are a few examples:
– E102 Tartrazine: a yellow dye made from petroleum.
– E120 Cochineal: a red color obtained from female insects.
– E441 Gelatin: derived from the bones and/ or hides of cattle and/ or pigs.
– E542 Edible Bone Phosphate: an extract from animal bones.
– E904 Shellac: a resin from the lac insect.
And here is a basic list of additives covered under codes,
that only the producer would know whether they were made from plant-based or animal-based, clean or unclean ingredients.
Unless you could contact them and have their confirmation, it is best to avoid:
– E304, E306, E312. (300-399 are antioxidants, phosphates, and complexing agents)
– E422, E430, E431, E432, E433, E434, E435, E436, E442, E470, E471, E472 (E472a and E472e are plant-based, but b, c, d, f are uncertain), E473, E474, E475, E477, E478, E479, E482, E491, E492, E493, E494, E495. (400-499 are thickeners, gelling agents, phosphates, humectants, emulsifiers)
– E570, E571, E572, E573. (500-599 are salts and related compounds)
– E626, E627, E628, E629, E630, E631, E632, E633, E634, E635, E640. (600-699 are flavor enhancers)
– E910, E920, E921. (900-999 are surface coating agents, gases, sweeteners)
As the modern processed food industry grows more and more disgusting and cunning with every passing year,
they will probably replace more clean ingredients with scavenging animals,
and create more unclean additives compared to this list.
So if you find it to be so much of a headache to remember and keep track of,
here would be a wonderful suggestion for you, which you must have ALREADY KNOWN:
get rid of not just the meat, but all processed food altogether,
and your health will be much better off.
16. How can the body be supplied with enough protein without meat?
[18] Job 40:15-19 Behold now Behemoth, which I made with thee;
he eateth grass as an ox.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins,
and his force is in the navel of his belly.
He moveth his tail like a cedar:
the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass;
his bones are like bars of iron.
He is the chief of the ways of God:
he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
This giant Behemoth that has a tail like a cedar tree, is none other than a sauropod dinosaur.

to know how dinosaurs had lived with men since creation – just as the Bible said all creatures did,
or as this ancient engraving in the Amazon forest depicting a group of 9 human hunters
surrounding a sauropod dinosaur that was perhaps still very small.
A fully grown Behemoth, on the other hand, would be a very different story.
One swing of its cedar-like tail would whiplashed the skull of the most fearsome T-rex to pieces,
swept away the entire group of whatever human hunters dumb enough to try to bring it down.
Yet this chief creature that only the Creator can make His sword to approach,
with the giant mass of bones and muscles reaching approximately 70-100 metric tons (7-10 times a T-Rex),
is an animal that “eateth GRASS like an ox”.
Many people mistakenly assume that a vegan diet would be deficient in protein
compared to a diet of meat and animal products,
but that is simply untrue.
We can easily see many animals having massive muscle mass in nature,
like buffalo, rhino, elephant, or this Behemoth,
showing clearly how rich in protein their vegan diet has to be.
Unlike meat, where heme iron causing cancer and inflammatory components are coupled with the protein,
the vegan sources of protein would supply vitamins and minerals along with their protein,
much, much better for the health of the body.
Regarding delicious vegan food groups that are high in protein, we can mention:
– Nuts (walnuts, cashew nuts, almond…).
– Beans (peanuts, green beans, black beans, lentils…).
– Whole grains (like whole wheat bread and rice).
As long as you eat enough of at least 2 out of these 3 groups of food (the more diverse the better),
you will never have to worry about being deficient in protein or any amino acids of protein.
Obviously: there is no way the original diet that God prescribed for mankind to eat for over 1.500 years,
since they were still sinless until after the flood,
could be deficient in nutrition.

Now chicken is already a white meat that is healthier among the clean kosher meats, and yet it STILL LOST!
Another example: “beef vs red kidney beans”.

If this is still not enough to convince married men to go vegan at least for all their last daily meals, I don’t know what is!
So, as the main vegan protein sources to replace meat are identified,
we need only to learn how to prepare them, and we’re good to go.
Nowadays setting up your own diet of favorite vegan dishes can be done so easily
because learning how to prepare vegan food is just one click away:
just go to youtube and search for videos teaching how to make the vegan dish that you like
(especially videos of the Seventh-day Adventists),
watch and learn.
After a year or so, you might be able to cook a hundred appetizing dishes.
I myself love vegan spaghetti bolognese, so I have learned to cook this dish fluently.
Some other people like vegan foie gras, vegan hamburgers, vegan pizzas, vegan spring rolls…
What are your favorite foods? Learn to cook the vegan version of them.

‘The whole animal creation is more or less diseased.
Diseased meat is not rare, but common.
Every phase of disease is brought into the human system through subsisting upon the flesh of dead animals.
The feebleness and weakness consequent upon change from a meat diet will soon be overcome,
and physicians ought to understand that they should not make the stimulus of meat eating essential for health and strength.
All who leave it alone intelligently, after becoming accustomed to the change,
will have health of sinews and muscles. More again.‘
*Note: there is this vitamin called B12,
often misunderstood to only be in animal products,
that a vegan diet would be deficient of.
But the truth is animals do not produce vitamin B12,
but the microorganisms in dirt and water that they eat.
Before the age of industrialization, animals and humans could get vitamin B12 from dirt and natural water.
But now, since pesticides, antibiotics and chlorine have killed off a large amount of those microorganisms that produce vitamin B12,
even farm animals are beginning to have to take vitamin B12 supplements,
and around 39% of the humans tested, including meat eaters, are still deficient in vitamin B12.
Therefore nowadays whether you eat animal products or not,
you would still have to look for specific foods that contain vitamin B12 to consume
(spirulina, some seaweeds and fermentation products, etc…).
17. Should Christians fast?
[01] Matthew 9:15 But the days will come, when the bridegroom (JESUS) shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
[05] Acts 13:2-3 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted,
the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul
for the work whereunto I have called them.
And when they had fasted and prayed,
and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
[01] Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind (a type of demon JESUS just casted out) goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
There are some demons that cannot be expelled unless by prayer and fasting.
We must control the appetite to empty ourselves for the power of the Lord to flow through unobstructed in order to defeat these demons.
Fasting is a special training in the ability to resist the influence of the flesh,
emptying self for the filling up of the Holy Spirit,
ready to engage in spiritual warfare
and help make prayers more persistent and more accurate to the will of God, thus being answered.
But not only so, fasting has many other benefits to physical health:
– After about 12 hours of fasting, growth hormone will start to increase.
And this is an anti-aging hormone that burns excess fat, repairs damages and synthesizes protein.
– After about 18 hours of fasting, the body will enter a process called “autophagy”:
it will start recycling old and damaged proteins, eating up bacteria and fungi…
as materials for the body to use for the work of healing or creating new cells.
– After about 24 hours of fasting, the glycogen reserve in the liver will start to be burned,
and the body will switch to run by excess fat and turn it to ketones.
And ketones are one powerful antioxidant and hunger suppressor,
therefore the hunger pangs will start cooling down.
In addition, the brain will be pushed into manufacturing a special protein called BDNF (Brain-derived neurotrophic factor),
that boosts learning and memorizing capabilities,
and even the making of new brain cells,
something that was thought to be impossible until recent years for adults.
Inflammation will start going down as well,
and the digestive system, while getting rest, saves approximately 1200 kcal/meal,
and can use this energy in repairing the body.
– After about 48 hours of fasting, STEM CELLS will start to be stimulated.
And this thing is a most potent agent in healing and anti-aging.
– The longer you fast, the more its benefits are pushed further
(as long as you do not suffer the body to fall into malnutrition or starvation, or death, of course).
Those who regularly practice fasting are not only younger, smarter, less likely to be overweight,
but also will allow their bodies to have regular maintenance while the damages are still relatively small, which leads to better health.
Diseases in many cases even have their root cause to be intemperance in eating and drinking,
which makes the best way to heal to be none other than fasting,
and then slowly eating back again using plain and vegan food.
For its many benefits – physical, mental and spiritual –
fasting should be a habit of Christians, especially the mature ones in Christ.
18. Are there other health principles in God’s inspired writings?
A. Quarantine hinders the spreading of diseases ([03] Leviticus 13:46).
B. Human waste is to be buried off the surface of the land ([05] Deuteronomy 23:12, 13).
C. Washing the body and clothes helps prevent diseases ([03] Leviticus 17:15, 16).
D. Sex is to be conducted healthfully within the boundary of marriage ([03] Leviticus 18; [20] Proverbs 5; [12] Cô-lô-sê 3:5, 6).
E. Do not harbor hatred ([03] Leviticus 19:17, 18; [20] Proverbs 15:17; [19] Hebrew 12:14, 15).
F. Do not overeat ([20] Proverbs 23:2).
G. Our bodies need enough rest ([19] Psalms 127:2; [02] Mark 6:31).
H. Work is very important ([02] Exodus 20:9, 10; [14] II Thessalonians 3:10).
I. A positive attitude is a great medicine ([20] Proverbs 17:22; [15] I Timothy 6:6).
J. Habits of parents will affect their children ([02] Exodus 20:5; [05] Deuteronomy 12:25).
19. After we’re ransomed and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven,
will we be eating the flesh of any animal?
[27] Revelation 21:4 And there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
Everything that Adam and Eve lost when sin came into the world
will be restored in the Kingdom of God,
including the original diet of “grains, fruits, nuts”.
We will not be killing, hurting or eating other animals.

‘Among those who are waiting for the coming of the Lord,
meat-eating will eventually be done away;
flesh will cease to form a part of their diet.
We should ever keep this end in view,
and endeavor to work steadily toward it.’
20. The Lord had gracefully given to the Last True Church the light of health reform,
but many, like the gluttonous people of Israel who died in the wilderness,
have shown Him that they would rather go back to the slavery of Egypt
just so they can sit by the fleshpot.
However, contrary to them are those who have received this light
and have begun to learn the knowledge of nutrition and food preparation
to reform back to the standardized diet of old: grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables.
The Lord had made Daniel and his companions champions through the entire empire
in health, wisdom and virtue, because they had obeyed His laws,
which include also the laws of health, an essential part of the Christian life.
Are you willing to obey these health laws and present your body a living temple, healthy and holy,
for Him to do for you what He did for Daniel and his friends?
Appendix
I. “The Spirit of Prophecy” and the 8 health principles
The Lord has given a prophetess to the Pioneeric SDA church,
not only to assist their Bible study to cleanse the church from all heresies,
but one of the most important missions of that prophetess was to lead the work of health reform
by relating to the people the health knowledge that the Lord communicated to her.

‘I was again shown that the health reform is one branch of the great work which is to fit a people for the coming of the Lord.
It is as closely connected with the third angel’s message as the hand is with the body.’
This knowledge can be summed up into 8 major points:
1) Faith.
– The most important and critical thing for healthfulness in all body, mind and spirit,
is the presence and God and His Son indwelling and reigning in the soul.
Repentance of all sins, total surrender to the Lord and inviting Him into one’s soul by faith
is the first and most valuable thing one can do, even just regarding health.
– The presence of the Lord not only brings peace to the conscience,
but also helps restrain lusts, overcome sins, fight off diseases,
adjust and renew all thoughts and emotions, even the very soul.
His presence is the fountain of living water bursting unto eternal life.
2) Nutrition.
– Be sure to supply your body with sufficient nutrition of all kinds.
– Use the clean and nutritious ideal diet of “grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables” as presented in this lesson.
– Let the meals be at least 5 hours apart,
the last meal to be at least 3 hours before bed, and no snacks between meals,
so that the stomach can have optimum rest between working shifts.
– To those who are willing, Ellen G. White’s writings reveal that in most cases, 2 meals/day is better than 3 meals/day.
– And of course: regular fast if possible, as presented in the lesson.
3) Clean water.
– Drink enough water. It doesn’t have to be fruit juice or anything special, just clean water.
There are many factors that affect the amount of water your body needs:
height, weight, gender, age, labor intensity, environment temperature…
but there is this little trick to see whether you have drunk enough water:
drink until your pee is relatively clear.
– Wash often. Taking a warm bath/shower will open up the pores and assist in cleansing the body,
while taking a cool bath/shower will stimulate blood circulation and the immune system.
4) Pure air.
5) Sunlight.
6) Physical activities.
– Try to break a sweat daily (except the weekly Sabbath of course) in pure air and under sunlight would be extremely beneficial to health.
– Useful labor is to be encouraged over sports or gym,
like gardening and growing food for yourself and your family.
‘Such exercise carries with it the sense of helpfulness and the approval of conscience for duty well done.’
{Ellen G. White, Special Testimonies on Education, 39.3}
7) Rest.
– Strictly keep the weekly Sabbath, rest from all labor (except the mandatory work of love like healing or saving souls).
– Sleep early (at 21h30 all the lights should be off, according to Mrs.White) and enough hours,
rise early (to hold communion with the Lord in the morning like Daniel, through prayers and reading His Word).
8) Temperance.
– Total abstinence from all harmful things.
– Use what is good with moderation.
Thanks to the health knowledge the Lord has given,
the Seventh-day Adventists who apply them nowadays
are one of the 5 longest living groups of people in the world
(the people of Ikaria island of Greece,
the people of Okinawa island of Japan,
the people of Sardinia island of Italy,
the people of Nicoya peninsula in Costa Rica,
and the Seventh-day Adventists).
Our lifespan is usually 7-10 years (10-15%) longer
than that of the local people where we live and of the Christians in nearby denominations,
and we also live much healthier lives,
not having to spend the last years, even decades, of our lives
to waste away in the torture of sickness and diseases.
In this health formula, except the last one “temperance”,
the rest of the remaining 7 are optimized with country living,
away from the pollution and temptations of the cities,
thus the prophetess urges believers to live in the countryside instead of dwelling in cities.
To small children, this is especially beneficial,
since they are separated from the environment of temptation,
from spoiled friends and godless educational systems that war against Him,
to be close with the Creator through nature and the Bible,
making acquaintances only with those who love God and keep His commandments,
especially in the earlier stage of their development.
That had always been the education of the greatest men in history, including our very Lord JESUS.
There are many other health knowledge given by the Lord through His prophetess.
Below are more reformations that can be carried out step by step,
shared with you so you can advance gradually according to your own suitable speed.

‘In this fast age, the less exciting the food, the better.
Condiments are injurious in their nature.
Mustard, pepper, spices, pickles, and other things of a like character, irritate the stomach and make the blood feverish and impure.
The inflamed condition of the drunkard’s stomach is often pictured as illustrating the effect of alcoholic liquors.
A similarly inflamed condition is produced by the use of irritating condiments.
Soon ordinary food does not satisfy the appetite.
The system feels a want, a craving, for something more stimulating.’
Note that the “condiments” in Mrs. White’s time, which she criticized,
only included those that irritate the stomach and cause inflammation,
not the mild and harmless ordinary spices like salt and herbs.
They are generally not only mild and harmless, but also very healthful, aromatic and delicious,
highly recommended with the right amount, especially salt (the clean, mineral-rich and natural type).
Also, pickles are condemned because vinegar and the irritating spices commonly used to make them back then are condemned by her.
Frankly speaking, the reason why chili and pepper are the irritating spices that they are today, is probably… us humans!
When they were first created, chili and peppercorns, or pepper berries,
were probably among the “fruits” that God gave Adam and Eve for food in the garden of Eden,
so it is more than likely that even if they were spicy,
they would be very mild and gentle still,
designed to be eaten fresh in a ripe, juicy state,
carrying with them vitamins and water to dilute any hot substance they might have had.
However, as man cultivates these trees,
should they select only the varieties that are as hot as possible to be perpetuated,
the original mild and gentle variety will gradually fade away.
In addition to that, we also processed these things,
dried them up, ground them to powder,
and thus managed to condense hundreds of grams of fresh, ripe and juicy pepper berries and chili
into just about a few dozen grams of dry ground pepper or chili powder.
And with such a level of density, using just a little of these things
might already be more than enough to be considered “excessive”,
causing inflammation and perversion of the taste.
The things condemned by Mrs. White,
perhaps were referring to these products of man,
simply because those were the things that she had to face in the context she was living in at that time,
things which man made by taking the things God made and then twisted them into harmful condiments
which are many, many times stronger than His original designs.
Also, it is fair to acknowledge that the condemnation is against their use as mere food spices,
added merely for the sake of taste perversion,
not against their use as medical herbs,
added or made into food for the sake of curing or preventing some diseases.
Ginger for example, with so many antibiotics,
can be made into ginger tea or added into the food to fight off and prevent colds in chili weather.
Many of the things nowadays used as food spices actually have powerful healing properties like that.
Cayenne can stop bleeding and heart attacks,
cloves have medicinal properties and clove oil can help with a toothache,
to create a numbing effect if applied to the gums.
However pretty much any of these herbs if used incorrectly or abused, can cause injury,
even if they are not listed here by the Spirit of Prophecy. Be careful.

‘Five hours at least should elapse between each meal,
and always bear in mind that if you would give it a trial,
you would find that two meals are better than three.’
This two at-least-5-hour-apart meals/day diet
nowadays has been developed into what is called the 18/6 or 16/8 diet,
meaning, during 6 or 8 hours, let the two meals be finished, eaten at least 5 hours apart,
and then during the remaining 18 or 16 hours of the day eat no more, and let the stomach rest.
This very healthy way of eating, which was only recently discovered by researchers,
was given by the Lord to His people approximately 150 years ago through His prophetess Ellen G. White,
about a century before modern nutrition science was even born!

‘A second meal should never be eaten until the stomach has had time to rest from the labor of digesting the preceding meal.
If a third meal be eaten at all, it should be light, and several hours before going to bed.’

‘You should never let a morsel pass your lips between your regular meals.
Eat what you ought, but eat it at one meal, and then wait until the next.’
In other words: no eating between meals.
Whatever you ought to eat, eat during the main daily meals.

‘The stomach, when we lie down to rest, should have its work all done,
that it may enjoy rest, as well as other portions of the body.
The work of digestion should not be carried on through any period of the sleeping hours.’

‘In some cases the use of eggs is beneficial.
The time has not come to say that the use of milk and eggs should be wholly discarded.
There are poor families whose diet consists largely of bread and milk.
They have little fruit and cannot afford to purchase the nut foods.
In teaching health reform, as in all other gospel work, we are to meet the people where they are.
Until we can teach them how to prepare health reform foods that are palatable, nourishing, and yet inexpensive,
we are not at liberty to present the most advanced propositions regarding health reform diet.
Let the diet reform be progressive.
Let the people be taught how to prepare food without the use of milk or butter.
Tell them that the time will soon come when there will be no safety in using eggs, milk, cream, or butter,
because disease in animals is increasing in proportion to the increase of wickedness among men.
The time is near when, because of the iniquity of the fallen race,
the whole animal creation will groan under the diseases that curse our earth.’

* Explaining a few hard things regarding the video:
1) The Catholic social doctrine “common good”.
It is essentially the idea that any unalienable right given by the Creator to men can be taken away,
if such an action is DEEMED to be better for the common good.
It gives the authorities the excuse to deny and trample upon these rights,
persecuting any voice of dissidence.
2) The PCR test is a test using the molecule replication technique.
It collects a sample, and then multiplies it up for the purpose of testing.
Through each cycle, whatever it collected would be multiplied.
If it is done with only about 25 cycles, it will give a pretty accurate test result.
However, if it is deliberately multiplied more, like even to 40 cycles in the video,
it will give FALSE positive results,
which in turn would then be used to force and oppress those that were not even sick,
while terrorizing the others to vaccination.
III. Supplements for vaccine detoxification.
Dr. McCullough said the body produces the toxic spike protein for 15 months after the jab, which is what causes the cardiovascular damage, among other problems.
Another adverse event causing sudden death after the jab is vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), an autoimmune condition involving severe blood clotting.
Below is the list of all internationally recommended supplements for this detox, in order of importance.
