666 and the Mark of the Beast

LESSON 9: 666 AND THE MARK OF THE BEAST
The first two sons of Adam and Eve were totally opposite. Cain liked planting and building, while Abel liked to roam the fields with his flock.
After sin came into the world as the result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, God had to immediately interfere to provide them with an escape from certain doom. He declared that a Savior will come to suffer the punishment of their sins and defeat “the snake”.
A rite of sacrifice was established, pointing forward to the coming Hero, JESUS Christ the Son of God, and it was also a grim reminder that blood has to be spilled for sins to be forgiven ([19] Hebrews 9:22). A lamb symbolizing JESUS was sacrificed ([27] Revelation 13:8), its skin made into coverings for Adam and Eve, while it had to die naked in their stead.
But when this sacred rite was passed on by Adam and Eve to their sons, they had very different receptions of it. Abel by faith obeyed the word of God and brought a lamb to be the sacrifice for his sins, but Cain deemed it unnecessary to follow God’s instruction to the letter. He considered it to be unnecessarily complicated, and believed that as long as he brought an offering and worshiped God, the rest of the details didn’t matter. So, Cain brought the fruits of the ground – the work of his hands – and then had to stand and watch in jealousy the fire of God descended from heaven down to the sacrifice of Abel, accepting it, while his offering was rejected.
God then tried to talk some sense into Cain, urging him to humble himself and obey, but Cain persisted in his rebellion. Abel tried to convince his brother, but Cain grew even more madden by rage. When the madness finally subsided, the dead body of his brother had already lie lifeless by his feet. And the entire population of the universe were frozen in terror at the witness of this first murder. “Sin” is revealing more and more of its extremely sinful and wicked nature.
Thus God proclaimed a curse upon Cain, and when the murderer complained about his punishment, He placed a mark on him so that future generations will not seek to kill Cain to avenge Abel.
The book of [27] Revelation shows us that in these last days, a similar conflict will burst upon the subject of worship. And then the whole world will be divided into two group: one having the Seal of the Living God, worshiping Him, the other in direct opposition to them, persecuting them.
Please spend a few minutes reading through [27] Revelation 14:6-11 before we dive further into this lesson.
1. What does the Beast in [27] Revelation 13 has that is in direct opposition to the Seal of God?
[27] Revelation 13:16, 17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
“The name of the beast“, or “the number of his name“, is two other views describing “the mark of the beast“, which is in direct opposition to the Seal of God.
In the previous lesson “the First Beast“, we have identified that the Number of the Beast’s name refers to the very title “Vicarius Filii Dei” – Vicar of the Son of God – of the Pope.
***Thus, believing that the Pope is the “Vicar of the Son of God”, meaning to acknowledge the Pope’s authority, is receiving the Number of the Beast’s name.
2. What about the name of the Beast?
[27] Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
The Bible defines blasphemy to be not just when someone insulted God directly, but also when someone:
– Consider that which is not a divine being to be a divine being ([04] John 10:33).
– Consider that which is not a divine being to possess authority that belongs only to a divine being ([03] Luke 5:21; [19] Hebrews 5:9).
3. According to Scriptures, who is the god of the Beast? Is he the True God of the Bible?
[27] Revelation 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast.
[27] Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.
The god of the Beast is not the Only True God of the Bible, but rather Satan, worshiped in many cases unknowingly by those who are classed as its followers.
4. Whom did the Beast itself declare to be its god?
In the previous lesson “the First Beast“, we have identified the First Beast in [27] Revelation 13 to be none other than the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican. According to its official catechism, whom did it declare to be its god?
Catechism of the Catholic church, page 234:
The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life. It is the mystery of God in himself. It is therefore the source of all the other mysteries of faith, the light that enlightens them. It is the most fundamental and essential teaching in the “hierarchy of the truths of faith”.
Athanasian Creed:
And the catholic faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the Essence. For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal.
This is the mystery of a god that is worshiped in the Catholic Church, called “the most holy trinity“, otherwise known as the notion of “God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, three in one and one in three.” If you don’t understand what that is, don’t worry, you’re not meant to. It’s the most typifying character of Babylon: confusion.
And of course, the existence of a God 3 times bigger than the Father, a merge between Him and two other beings supposedly just as great, is nowhere found in the Bible, because not until the council of Nicaea, 325 AD – hundreds of years after all the apostles are dead – that it was officially invented and established. In fact, there is only one being in the entire universe arrogant enough to proclaim himself greater than God. Lo and behold, when we come to [27] Revelation 13:4, the Bible had indeed plainly declared that the god whom the followers of the Beast worship is none other than the dragon – Satan. See a previous lesson “The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit“, if you missed it.
***Thus, rejecting the light of truth that the Lord has sent to persist in believing that the trinity god of the Beast is the True God, is receiving the name of blasphemy of the Beast. Whosoever would do such a thing is automatically counted as a menber of the Beast, bearing its name upon himself.
Just as the Seal of the living God (the Sabbath) is a sign pointing towards the Father, the Only True God, the mark of the Beast is also a sign pointing towards its god, the trinity god of the Vatican.
5. So what then is the mark of the Beast pointing to its god? What does Vatican itself proclaim to be its mark of authority, in direct opposition to the Seal of God?

Answer. Saturday is the Sabbath day.
Question. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
Answer. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”

“Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?
Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her—she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.”

“Question: What is Sunday, or the Lord’s Day in general?
Answer: It is a day dedicated by the Apostles TO THE HONOUR OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY.”
Thus the Vatican itself has declared that its mark of authority, to honor its god “the most holy trinity”, is changing the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath into the day of the Sun, the first day of the week – a change so blatantly boasted to be unbiblical by the Catholic Church even, yet almost the entire Christian community across the world bow in submissive obedience, and even stand up to defend – the mark that is in direct opposition to the Seal of God that we haved studied in the previous lesson.
To summarize: the name of the Beast, or the number of its name, the manifestation of which is the Mark of the Beast, is:
“Accepting the trinity god of the Beast – which is the dragon Satan – as God, or acknowledging the authority of the Pope as the Vicar of the Son of God, the manifestation of which is the specific action of REJECTING THE SABBATH OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF GOD TO OBSERVE THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK INSTEAD.”
6. Why is the Mark of the Beast dangerous?
[06] Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[23] I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
The act of transferring the day of rest and worship from the seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday the first day of the week, is the Mark of the Beast pointing to its trinity sun-god. It is utterly sinister in the very fact that it is forcing/deceiving/alluring those who have already been saved by believing in the Lord to turn back and deliberately transgress one of the Ten Commandments, and thus be lost again.
7. What would happen to the true and conscientious children of God who are keeping Sunday, not knowing that they are making a mistake?
[04] John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice.
The Lord will call them by sending them the light of His truths. Those who are true followers of Him who said “I AM the Truth” will hear and recognize the voice of Truth in their hearts, and will obey even when that causes them inconveniences and persecutions from their workplaces and churches.
These people have one stand-out characteristic that will always separate them from the self-proclaimed Christians who are only baptized infidels in heart: to them the Lord is always supreme. Number one. First and foremost. Everything else, including family, friends, works, or the very churches that they are fellowshipping with, must all be in submission to the Lord and obey His will.
8. Will keeping the Sabbath while worshipping the trinity god get a person sealed with the Seal of the Living God??
[02] Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
[27] Revelation 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God.
Of course not. How can a person ever get sealed with the Seal of the Living God while worshipping other gods? That Seal is first and foremost of the Living God!
This sounds like a blinding flash of the obvious: the first commandment about WHO to worship cannot possibly be any less important than the fourth commandment about WHEN to worship. If God requires obedience to the fourth commandment, He would most certainly require obedience to the one He placed on the top of the list.
9. Can the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God be visibly seen on the body?
[26] Ezekiel 3:7 All the house of Israel have a hard forehead and a stubborn heart.
[21] Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.
Contrary to what many people may believe, both the Mark of the Beast and the Seal of God are not visible things on the body. They are not some kind of vaccine or microchip – despite them being good or bad. Because throughout the Bible, the “forehead” is the symbol for the mind or heart, and the “hand” is the symbol for the work. “On the forehead” or “on the hands” are terms referring to a person’s thoughts and actions. ([05] Deuteronomy 6:8; 11:18).
A person receives the Mark of the Beast on the forehead when worshiping the trinity god as his God, and/or believing that sunday is the Sabbath, despite the obvious evidences of truth in the Bible. A person receives the Mark of the Beast on the hand when keeping sunday holy and deliberately works on the Sabbath of God for any reason – employment, family, friends, church…Although these things are not visible on the outside body, God knows very well who has which ([16] II Timothy 2:19).
Indeed, we all will be sealing ourselves by our own choice: if we choose the Lord, respect and keep His Sabbath, He will seal us as His children; if we choose the trinity god of the Beast, and/or keep its false sabbath, deliberately transgress a precept of the Ten Commandments of God, we will be marked as followers of the Beast.
Of course, many people who were not Sabbath keepers would still be saved, because they never had the chance to find out and know about it, but they are true Christians who obeyed God wholeheartedly according to the lights that have been sent to them.
However, those who do not have that obedient heart, deliberately transgress when the light HAD been sent to them, and those who “don’t know” because they willfully refuse knowledge ([28] Hosea 4:6), are both far from being saved. “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” [19] Hebrews 10:26-27.
10. What would happen to those who will be faithful to God and resist the Mark of the Beast and its god?
[27] Revelation 13:17 No man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[27] Revelation 13:15 As many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The “stubborn” will be universally branded as religious fanatics, and will be punished by some kind of economic sanction that disables them from being able to buy and sell. And then it will be ramped up into capital punishment for all those who refuse to transgress the law of God.
The economic sanction will push the life of most of the faithful into extreme want and poverty, especially if they do not have a piece of land in the countryside to raise provisions for themselves and their families. And when the death decree shall be issued forth, they will be forced to abandon their homes and run for their lives to remote places, like in the mountains. The last days of earth’s history will be kinda like a zombie apocalypse: when the enraged throng of the lost shall leap upon the saved with maddened fury to devour them, then may a saint turn to his brethren and say: “You know, I think I’ve seen this in a movie once.”
And in such dire circumstances, the saints will be forced to learn how to lean entirely upon the Lord by faith – any of them who by then still hasn’t learned that most important lesson.
By now, the keeping of the first day of the week instead of the seventh-day Sabbath has pretty much been spread throughout the world by the Beast. We await only the decree setting forth the punishment for those who refuse to abandon the Sabbath of the Lord. The Truth of the Seal of God is now the primary message, if not the only one, that can untangle people from receiving the Mark of the Beast.
11. What would happen to those who receive the Mark of the Beast?
[27] Revelation 14:9-11 “If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”
While those who are sealed with the Seal of God will inherit everlasting life after enduring a short period of persecution, the portion of those who receive the Mark of the Beast, who willfully stand against the Ten Commandments of God, is the most terrifying curse of the entire Bible. This message is brought to you to expose the Devil’s deceptions in these last days, allowing you to make the right choice for your soul.
The angels of the Lord and the demons of the Devil are standing right by your side to see what your decision will be, so that they can brand you as theirs. What do you choose? The Living and Only True God, the Father, and His Seal; or would you not choose the Lord, and let the trinity god of the Beast brand its mark on you?
Appendix
I. The Vatican questions the Protestants
Throughout history, the Protestants have repeatedly asked the Vatican thus: “how dare you change the law of God?” The Catholic church did indeed change the Ten Commandments: they abolished the second commandment forbidding the worship of idols, splitted the tenth into two commandments to make the list ten again…But then the Vatican has replied with an even harder question.
This is the official reply:
You will tell me that Saturday was the Jewish Sabbath, but that the Christian Sabbath has been changed to Sunday. Changed! but by whom? Who has authority to change an express commandment of Almighty God? When God has spoken and said, Thou shalt keep holy the seventh day, who shall dare to say, Nay, thou mayest work and do all manner of worldly business on the seventh day but thou shalt keep holy the first day in its stead?
This is a most important question, which I know not how you can answer. You are a Protestant, and you profess to go by the Bible and the Bible only and yet in so important a matter as the observance of one day in seven as a holy day, you go against the plain letter of the Bible, and put another day in the place of that day which the Bible has commanded.
The command to keep holy the seventh day is one of the ten commandments you believe that the other nine are still binding who gave you authority to tamper with the fourth? If you are consistent with your own principles, if you really follow the Bible and the Bible only, you ought to be able to produce some portion of the New Testament in which this fourth commandment is expressly altered.

II. The origin of the trinity god
Where did this trinity god notion “three in one and one in three” come from?
[27] Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
[01] Genesis 10:8, 10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth… And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
The name of Nimrod means “rebelion”. Historians tell us that he is the inventor of sun worship, at that time used also fire and snake in the act of worship.s

After he died, his mother and wife Semiramis falsely claimed that the soul of Nimrod had ascended to the sun. Not only so, she “miraculously” became pregnant: the light from the sun had shone down upon her and impregnated her; and the son she later on gave birth to – Tammuz – is the “father” Nimrod reborn in the person of the “son”.
And thus this trio of Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz were worshiped as the first “three in one, one in three” trinity sun-god ever in the history of mankind. The people were gathering to build up a skyscraper as the worship center for this trinity sun-god – which in fact, is none other than Satan.
The symbol of this sun worship pagan religion is the Triquetra, the intersection of 3 circles symbolizing the sun rising, the sun at noon, and the sun setting. It is the very symbol of the trinity god that is widely used nowadays in the churches that worship it.
In the face of this crisis, what did God do?
[01] Genesis 11:7, 9 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language… Therefore is the name of it called Babylon; because YHWH did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did YHWH scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Foreseeing what a nightmare this tower would be, God had interfered and dismissed the crowd by a peaceful method without bloodshed: He talked to His Son, and they came down and messed up the language of these wicked people, disabling them from continuing to cooperate in the building of this tower – and also from continuing to live together too, for that matter. And they were thus forced to scatter abroad from Babylon.
And so arose everywhere all kinds of trinity religions, but the names of the gods were changed after the language was confused:
– Trinity of Babylon: Nimrod, Tammuz, Semiramis.
– Trinity of Egypt: Osiris, Horus, Isis (Ra).
– Trinity of Greece: Zeus, Apollo, Athena.
– Trinity of India: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva.
– Trinity of Rome: Jupiter, Mars, Venus.
And other species of trinity.
III. Is God a multiplicity of beings?
Let us go through the witnesses of the Bible one by one and see what they believed about the identity of God.
1) Whom did Peter believe to be God?
[01] Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
[21] I Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord JESUS Christ.
=> Answer: Peter believed that God is the Father of Lord JESUS.
2) Whom did John believe to be God?
[24] II John 3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord JESUS Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
=> Answer: John believed God is the one we call “Father”, and Lord JESUS Christ is the Son of that God.
3) Whom did James believe to be God?
[20] James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
=> Answer: James also believed that God is the one we called “Father”.
4) Whom did Jude believe to be God?
[26] Jude 1 Jude, the servant of JESUS Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in JESUS Christ.
=> Answer: Jude also believed that God is the one we called “Father”.
5) Whom did Paul believe to be God?
[07] I Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father.
[07] I Corinthians 1:3 and many other greetings from multiple epistles of Paul: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord JESUS Christ.
=> Answer: according to Paul, there is only One God, and very clearly, that being is the Father.
6) According to JESUS, whom did the Jews believe to be God?
[04] John 8:54 It is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
=> Answer: According to JESUS, the God of the Jews is His Father.
7) Whom did JESUS declare to be the Only True God?
[04] John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and JESUS Christ, whom thou hast sent.
[27] Reevlation 3:2 I have not found thy works perfect before my God.
=> => Answer: JESUS did not proclaim himself to be the Only True God, but that His Father is the Only True God, and the God of even the Son. This is declared consistently before and after He ascended to Heaven ([27] Revelation was written around 92-95 AD, roughly 60 years after the crucifiction).
All witnesses in the Bible have consistently testified that JESUS and the Father are two beings, the Father is the Only True God, and JESUS is His Only Begotten Son.
How come the Christian community nowadays became so confused about the identity of the Only True God – our Father – a truth so basic and simple, presented throughout the Bible with statements that can’t be more plain, is thanks to the trinity doctrine issued by the Catholic Church on 325 AD at the council of Nicaea. No marvel, because now we know who is the one behind that organization – even when there are many sincere Christians who are faithful and true hearted to God.
