Description: This original “Historical Sketches of the Foreign Missions of the Seventh-day Adventists” was written by many of the Pioneers, but only the portion written by Mrs. White is compiled into this book. The E. G. White portion of this book includes her “Notes of Travel,” tracing her journey from California to Europe and her account of the first of her three visits to many of the European countries, drawn largely from her reports published in The Review and Herald. Also contained are thirteen “Practical Addresses,” given at the councils attended in September, 1885, and four concluding chapters presenting an “Appeal for Our Missions.”
